Prosciej vs PRO100, Meblarz 3D and SketchUp

Prosciej (prosciej.com) runs in the browser and keeps the 3D design, cutting list, sheet layout, quote, PDF and DXF in one place. PRO100 and Meblarz 3D are programs installed on a computer that go further towards CNC machines (drilling, post-processors), and SketchUp is a general-purpose tool; below are facts from their own pages, each with a source.

Feature comparison

The table sets out what the manufacturers themselves say on their own pages. Where a manufacturer's page does not confirm something, we wrote “no data on the manufacturer's site” instead of guessing.

In PRO100 the sheet layout (Nowy Rozkrój) and CNC (CNC module) are separately paid products, so when you compare those two rows, count them together with the core program.

Where the competition is stronger

In a few areas the competitors go further today — above all in CNC, where holes and routing in Prosciej are one step away and coming soon. It is worth knowing before you choose.

  • PRO100: the paid CNC module generates drilling, routing and cutting and files for machines such as SCM, HOMAG, Biesse, Felder and HOLZ-HER, together with barcodes for parts. On top of that come a mature, separate program, Nowy Rozkrój (optimisation, integration with saws, a stock of boards and offcuts), the Kray renderer with panoramas and VR, and manufacturers' libraries. Prosciej has a photorealistic render too — Render Prosciej, in the Standard plan.
  • Meblarz 3D: in the Professional edition it adds connectors and hardware with drilling automatically and exports them to machines through built-in post-processors. It also has a one-time purchase price with no subscription, which for a workshop that uses one workstation all the time may work out cheaper than a monthly fee.
  • SketchUp: a free tier in the browser (for non-commercial use), over 1000 extensions, 3D Warehouse, LayOut for 2D documentation, real-time sharing and commenting and many exchange formats (DWG/DXF, IFC, OBJ, glTF and others). It is a general-purpose tool with no native cutting list or sheet layout for panel furniture; we did not check extensions, so we do not claim that such things cannot be done in it.
  • Offline use: SketchUp Desktop has a documented offline mode (up to 28 days without signing in again). Prosciej runs in the browser and needs an internet connection.

When to choose Prosciej

Prosciej fits when you want to go quickly from a design in the browser to a cutting list, a sheet layout and a quote, and you handle holes and routing separately. It fits especially well when:

  • you want to design in the browser, on a Mac or Windows, with no install
  • you prefer a paid monthly plan, with a free demo to start, to buying a licence once
  • you want to send the client a 3D preview link with no prices and no cutting list
  • you want to show the client a 3D render of the design — in the same Standard plan
  • you want a program that is catching up fast: L- and U-shaped kitchens, a library of ready-made kitchen cabinets and 3D hinges, drawers and flap lifts arrive in the next few days
  • you need a cutting list with edge banding, a sheet layout, a quote from your own price list, and PDF and DXF in one place
  • you need a DXF with the part outlines for CNC today — holes and routing are one step away, coming soon

Frequently asked questions

How does Prosciej differ from PRO100?
Prosciej runs in the browser on a monthly plan, while PRO100 is a program for a Windows PC, bought as a licence with paid upgrades. PRO100, in turn, has sheet layout and CNC as separate, paid modules that go further — in Prosciej, holes and routing for CNC are coming soon. Both have a photorealistic render: in Prosciej it is Render Prosciej, in the Standard plan.
Does Prosciej generate drilling for CNC machines?
No. The Prosciej DXF carries the outlines of parts laid out on the sheets, and holes and routs are announced as “coming soon”. Drilling and files for specific machines are described on the pages of PRO100 (CNC module) and Meblarz 3D (Professional edition).
Is SketchUp suitable for designing panel furniture?
SketchUp is a general-purpose tool. The manufacturer's page does not describe a native cutting list or sheet layout for panel furniture, and we did not check extensions, so we do not claim it cannot be done. It does have a free tier in the browser (for non-commercial use) and many exchange formats.
How are licences charged in these programs?
Prosciej: a free Free plan and a paid monthly Standard plan (prices on the pricing page). PRO100 and Meblarz 3D: a licence bought once, in PRO100 with paid upgrades to newer versions. SketchUp: an annual or monthly subscription. The competitors' amounts are in the table, with sources.
Where does the data on the competition come from, and how current is it?
From the manufacturers' public pages (ecru.pl, meblarz3d.eu, 3dmaster.pl, sketchup.trimble.com, help.sketchup.com), as of 28 October 2026. Prices, versions and requirements change, so check them with the manufacturer before you decide.
